Dr Peter Eichenberger Grant at the Claraspital Basel

CHF 60,000 per year is available for research funding. Financial support is to be provided for research projects worthy of support and related to the Claraspital. The allocation of research funds should be competitive in nature so that they can be listed as competitively acquired third-party funds for an academic career. Employees of the Claraspital, Clarunis, the Lindenhof Group and St. Clara Research are eligible for funding.

The grant is dedicated to the former and long-standing director of St. Clara Hospital, Dr Peter Eichenberger (1966-2024) and is awarded annually by the Coordination Committee of St. Clara Forschung AG. Peter Eichenberger was the hospital director of St. Clara Hospital for many years. Thanks to his visionary ideas and the commitment of the St. Clara Forschung team, the institution was able to raise its profile both nationally and internationally in a short space of time.
