The Claraspital has clearly positioned itself medically with its Tumour Centre, the Clarunis University Abdominal Centre, which is run jointly with the University Hospital, its mission for highly specialised visceral surgery, and the specialities of urology, pneumology/thoracic surgery, cardiology, general internal medicine/endocrinology with a nutrition centre, gynaecology and intensive care medicine.

The Claraspital is open to all insurance classes. For the duration of your stay, there is also the option of an insurance "upgrade", whereby your inpatient hospitalisation is carried out in a higher insurance class.
