Course of treatment
Depending on the diagnosis, drug therapy is administered after the consultation. This is usually administered by means of an infusion or injection and takes between a few minutes and several hours. A well-rehearsed and experienced nursing team guarantees safe and smooth administration of the therapy and will be happy to advise you on any questions regarding possible side effects or taking medication at home.
We make sure that you are cared for by the same doctor and nurse for the entire duration of your treatment, so that continuous care is guaranteed. You are free to have a trusted person accompany you to consultations and therapies.
The medical and nursing teams work closely together to ensure optimally coordinated processes. The two teams are supported by the outpatient case management team, which is responsible for organising diagnostic measures and scheduling appointments.
In stressful situations, we can also offer you the support of the psycho-oncological service and pastoral care.
